Iranian medical laser association organized on 2002 November after a public invitation and election of board of directors was accomplished with attending a member of medical-scientific association committee of ministry of health, car and medical education.
After that the association board of directors by performing monthly sessions studied scapulas and the association goals and recently approved the association strategic scapulas, the association mission and goals, according to these sanctions are listed below.

Goals:

1. Producing more effective level and available laser management to society by physicians.

2. Help to appropriate laser management development.

3. Help to research development related to medical laser.

4. Establishment completed educations and ensuring appropriate scientific resources for increasing physicians' knowledge level of laser and its medical usage.

5. Producing university training workshop of laser and its medical usage.
